Weekend Fun

This weekend Tyler got to meet Mike's best friend Demetrios and his girlfriend Roula. They came for lunch and we wanted to take them to the Pub for some of their delicious cheese balls but they were too packed. So we went to another bar with far less delicious cheese balls. After lunch, we came back to our house so Demetrios and Roula could get to know Tyler a little better. Then we played a couple of games of Scene It before they headed back home.

Meeting Great Grandma and Grandpa Ellsworth

On Sunday, we went to Morris to pick Tyler up after his weekend stay at Grandma and Grandpa Ellsworth's and to visit with Great Grandma and Grandpa Ellsworth from Wyoming. The day was spent talking and visiting, eating, playing a game of dominoes and playing with Tyler. Fun times were all had all--especially Tyler! Here are some pictures from the day.

This month has brought a lot of change for Tyler. He is much more awake and alert (which is why my blogging has decreased so significantly!) and he is smiling and laughing a lot more! He's been pretty good about sleeping at night, usually only getting up once to eat. He enjoys sitting up on the couch or sitting on someone's lap. Mom went back to work on Wednesday, January 7th so Tyler got to spend some quality time at home with Dad for 3 days. Then on January 12th, Tyler started his first full week of day care. It's been a time of transition for all of us but Tyler is doing great with it.

Tyler is actually at his Grandma and Grandpa Ellsworth's right now for the weekend because Mom got the flu on Thursday night and didn't want Tyler to catch the bug (Dad had it on Monday and still isn't feeling 100%). He'll get to meet his Great-Grandma and Grandpa Ellsworth from Wyoming today. We are going to Morris tomorrow so we can spend some time with the grandparents and to pick up Tyler (we miss him tons!). Hopefully we'll all be healthy by that time.
