Getting ready for Baby Ellsworth

We are definitely anxious for Baby to arrive. Right when we found out we were pregnant, we celebrated a reason to start ripping down the wallpaper in the spare bedroom across from our bedroom. After several months of looking at just wallpaper backing (still far better than what was on the walls before), we finally started working on it again. We found out we were having a little boy on June 23rd and for the next two weeks, spent a good deal of time stripping wallpaper backing, washing walls, patching walls, sanding walls and washing walls again. What a job! I knew I wouldn't be involved in the painting part of the project so I contributed by doing most of the preparation work. Mike primed and taped the walls to divide for the two colors. Then John and Sue were nice enough to come help us paint on July 5th. Sue and Mike did the painting and John put up the chair rail. It was a wonderful family collaborative effort and I am sure Baby Ellsworth will appreciate it once he sees his new room!

I love the blog. You will have a ready made scrapbook for the new baby. Shelly is following your route on The Knot. Search Shelly Banister. Your wedding was one of the most fun we had attended. I know that Jaime and Mike will be wonderful parents!
