Building a Snowman

Central Illinois got blasted with 13 inches of snow Tuesday through Wednesday last week. Since it was a relatively nice day (around 32 degrees) today, we went outside and made a snowman. Grandma and Grandpa Ellsworth planted the idea in Tyler's head when they rolled out a quick snowman in the front yard so then Tyler decided he wanted to join the fun too. All previous attempts in the snow have failed miserably so I wasn't very hopeful but we were out for over a half hour today and built a pretty impressive snowman (thanks to the snowman kit Grandma and Grandpa Breclaw gave Tyler for Christmas). Here are the pictures from the fun....

Tyler's first leap in the snow

This little snowman is the one Grandma and Grandpa E. built--just Tyler's size

Here we all are trying to roll up this very heavy second snowball. It was a lot of work.

But we muscled it out and got it done!

Tyler helped pack on some snow too

Our snowman!
